Summary[edit]

Description
English: A Black-headed Gull in St James's Park, London, England. Although the gull typically has a black head, as the name suggests, its winter plumage around the head is white with black spots, visible on the side of the head. This image was taken by myself with a Canon 5D and 70-200mm f/2.8L lens at 150mm, ISO 1600 and f/8 with a 1/1250s shutter speed. This is the edited version which took out the noise and dead pixels.
Français : Mouette rieuse, parc St James, Londres (Angleterre). Habituellement, la mouette rieuse présente une tête noire. Cependant, son plumage d'hiver est blanc avec seulement deux taches noires sur les cotés, comme le montre cette photo. Image prise avec un appareil Canon 5D et un objectif 70-200mm f/2.8L réglés sur 150 mm, ISO 1600, ouverture F/8 et exposition 1/250s.
